Who would have ever known that David Hornik’s son made a puppet “Little David” for his birthday? David Hornik is happy to mention it to provide a perspective of himself. Hornik also talks to me about an An August Capital event called the Lobby. It’s part TED (Technology, Entertainment And Design) and part Foo Camp (Friends of O’Reilly). David Hornik Partner at August tells Marketing Voices listeners what the Lobby is, and why it is so successful. IT is an invite-only event, so despite the great insights Hornik provides on this podcast, it takes initiative to get invited to the Lobby. But don’t give up pursuing it, if you want to go. He is waiting for those who show the most initiative. Keep pursuing David Hornik at August Capital.
