Jennifer Jones has always been on the forefront of marketing of technology and professional services firms. With more than two decades of experience in marketing, and in her current role as creator and host of the successful podcast called Marketing Voices, Jennifer is helping drive many of the newest innovations in marketing.

Jennifer founded Jennifer Jones Consulting in 1989 and built the firm by representing the leading professional service firms in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, wealth management and private equity. Jennifer was the first to brand a venture firm when Mayfield and JJC began working together in 1989. Ideas such as promoting venture capital as an industry; hosting co-sponsored events between technology service firms such as Mayfield and Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, or holding CEO events for portfolio companies were marketing strategies that JJC created. As the first marketing person for a venture firm, Jennifer also created unique identities for Mayfield; including Mayfield’s first marketing tag-line, The Entrepreneur’s Partner and then Mayfield’s current tagline: Venture Capital with IMPACT.

Prior to founding JJC, Jennifer was a Senior Vice President and General Manager of Regis McKenna Inc., a renowned marketing and communications consulting firm that represented the Who's Who of technology companies including Apple Computer, Intel and Genentech. Jennifer was the first marketing expert to create and host a television show, called High Tech Visions. She also spent years developing advertising and public relations campaigns for consumer companies while a Vice President at Ketchum Communications. Starting her career as a broadcast journalist, Jennifer was a reporter and producer at local and national news operations.

Jennifer is a graduate of Stanford University's SEP program, the graduate business school's program for working executives. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Colorado. She has served on the board of advisors for Garage Technology Ventures, and Sacred Heart School.
